Piemonte is another biker’s paradise. Never ending hills covered with huge vineyards, cherry tree and hazelnut plantations (for your Nutella breakfast), elegant wineries and old farm houses. Add some very nice towns like Alba and Asti, a truffle hunting lesson and wine tastings, and here’s your recipe for a perfect cycling holiday. We pedal in the Langhe hills which are known to host the most important wineries. Barolo and Alba are surely the most picturesque villages where we stop on our tour. The higher we rise the better the view on the surrounding mountains. We also show you the Roero hills on the opposite side of the Tanaro river where time passes slowlier. You want to see Torino by bike? This elegant town is much more than FIAT. We arrive along the Po River and discover the beautiful palaces of the old town centre. We conclude our Piedmont tour in the quiet Monferrato area where a 30 Kilometres downhill ride is waiting for us.
