Puglia offers so many scenic cycle tours that it is difficult to choose the best ones. We pedal along the Gargano coast and enjoy one of the most beautiful downhill rides in Italy. We approach mysterious Castel del Monte crossing the bare Murgia – plain and enjoy the pretty little harbour of Trani. We cycle in the Itriavalley which is famous for the tiny Trulli houses. A wonder of red earth, white houses, green olive trees and perfectly built stone walls. We move further south to the Salento area which is known as the Italian Caribbean Sea. We pedal along the coast and reach the most south eastern town of Italy: Santa Maria Leuca. The road is extremely scenic and the amount of stunning views let you stop maybe too often. Last but not least we go to Matera, setting of the latest “James Bond”. The town is special and to cycle within the old town is a unique experience.
